Support the Greater Banner Elk Heritage Foundation
The Greater Banner Elk Heritage Foundation, with the Banner House Museum, is 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and depends solely on donations, gifts, and grants to support its mission and subsidize its outreach activities. Please join us today and help support our preservation efforts!
Patrons
A vital source of funding comes in the form of our patrons, whose annual gifts create a dependable base of support that allows us to plan for future programs, events, and projects. Each gift goes directly to the activities that preserve the history and heritage of greater Banner Elk.
Benefits
Patron benefits include a season pass for two adults to the Banner House Museum plus two free “guest passes” to share with friends, free or reduced admission to Foundation events (excluding the annual Heritage Luncheon), early reservations for our coveted Heritage Bus Tour, two newsletters with updates and event information, and the satisfaction of knowing that you are a part of the preservation of the heritage of Banner Elk. The Foundation is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) publicly supported organization and contributions are tax deductible as allowed by law.

Tributes
Separate from annual Patron Memberships, tributes are a wonderful way to mark an occasion such as a birthday or anniversary or to honor the memory of a person who thought Banner Elk was a special place. Or, perhaps you are new to the area and want to be sure that the charm that drew you here remains for generations to come. Gifts to honor and memorialize an individual are acknowledged with a note to the individual’s family as well as a tax deductible donation receipt for you. All tributes received are recorded in the “Honor Book” and tributes of $500 or more are also recognized on the Honor and Memorial Plaques on display in the Museum.
Donations
Gifts of any amount are needed and greatly appreciated. If you would like to send a donation to the Foundation, please make your check out to “GBEHF” and mail it with a note containing your name and address so that we may thank you for your gift. Our mailing address is:
